WHAT WE DO

Ongoing Projects

REFLECTIVE

DOG COLLAR

This project aims to make as many stray dogs as we can wear reflective collars to avoid car and two-wheeler accidents in pitch-dark conditions at night! The low visibility is a major risk to the lives of stray dogs.

The collars that are be put on the dogs are made of reflective material so that when cars and two-wheelers flash their headlights in the dark, they will reflect off these collars, making the dogs visible at night, avoiding a tragic accident! The inside material of these collars is made of soft material that makes it comfortable for the dog to wear without irritation.

The collar is also at least 60% bio-degradable and at least 80% eco-friendly.

PROJECT

PERIOD

We aim to donate at least 5000 sanitary pads to 500 underprivileged women and girls every month for better sanitation and improved women health.

We also produce our own pads which are 90% eco-friendly at subsidized rates which are lower that the synthetic ones in the market. People can also buy these pads as they are medically approved and comfortable to use as surveyed by over 100 women and girls.

The profit of these pads which are bought by customers and the donations our donors make, are directly invested into giving better sanitation and comfort to the underprivileged during their periods.

UPCOMING PROJECTS.

Project Plantation

Trees make life nicer.
It has been shown that spending time among trees and green spaces reduces the amount of stress that we carry around with us in our daily lives. Trees reduce the urban heat island effect through evaporative cooling and reducing the amount of sunlight that reaches parking lots and buildings. This is especially true in areas with large impervious surfaces, such as parking lots of stores and industrial complexes. Trees improve our air quality by filtering harmful dust and pollutants such as ozone, carbon monoxide, and sulfur dioxide from the air we breathe. Trees give off oxygen that we need to breathe.
According to scientists, India has lost 40% of its natural forest cover in the last 95 years.
Therefore, We're planting the lungs of nature. 🌱
Our aim is to make citizens aware about the need of trees for our survival and protect natural resources for generations to come.

Project Dog Shelter

We are raising fund to restore and build Animal Shelters in Nagpur District to give the stray and abandoned a better life in the rainy and winter season.
Shelters have been distorted due to extreme weathers and animals there live in substandard conditions.
We aim to give them a better life with your minimal donations!

COMPLETED

PROJECTS.

Migrant Workers

May 2020

Some founding members of Manzil Foundation took up a preliminary project before it's establishment and sent over 5000 Migrant Workers and their families in Nagpur back to their homes in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar & Jharkhand.

We arranged everything for them from enrollment with the NMC & testing to their safe and free transport in buses and food.

WHERE WE WORK.

Women

Hygiene

Animals

Poor and

Underpriveleged

Feminine hygiene is really really important and essential. Minimisation of medical illness may lead to certain issues. Extreme care is and attention is required when it comes to women hygiene especially during menstrual cycles. A habit formation must take place to use sanitary pads and Maintain hygiene during periods. In many parts of the world women are still considered to be dirty and impure during menstruation 🩸 which is still a myth. Some actions against the neglect of menstrual cycle and hygiene should take place

Everybody has a right to live and a right to be treated properly regardless of who they are. Animals can play a major role in a human’s life. Somewhere or the other human beings do have a connection with animals. Cruelty and negligence are two aspects that have to be dealt with care. The cases of animal abuse is increasing day by day and they’re not given importance in certain areas.

Helping the poor and underprivileged goes without saying. They are the most vulnerable sections of the society.

We take up many projects dedicated to them as well as involve as many as these people possible in our projects.

For Ex. We gave employment to the unemployed tailors under our Reflective Dog Collars project.
